Jewelcrafting 1-450 for 3.3

Jewelcrafting Introduction

If you decide to become a jewelcrafter the first step is to learn jewelcrafting. Because jewelcrafting was not an original profession, it came into being after the debut of the Burning Crusade, there are not jewelcrafting trainers in pre-Burning Crusade cities. So fly, port, or run to the nearest Burning Crusade era city with profession trainers and navigate to the jewelcrafting trainer by right clicking a guard, clicking on profession trainer, clicking jewelcrafting, and by going to the flag that pops up on both your mini map and regular map.
To train jewelcrafting simply click on the jewelcrafting trainer and train apprentice jewelcrafting. Next train heavy copper ring. You'll notice that by learning apprentice jewelcrafting the trainer also gave you a number of other jewelcrafting formulas. Also, in order to begin jewelcrafting you will need to purchase a Jeweler's Kit from a jewelcrafting supply vendor, which can be found right near the jewelcrafting trainer.
Now that you have trained you might be wondering where to get the supplies for jewelcrafting! The components for jewelcrafting are derived from mining. Therefore, a vast majority of jewelcrafters train mining as their second profession. If you decide to mine then the next step for you would be to find a mining trainer in one of the major cities with trainers and then get out and mine. As you mine you will find that you obtain ore and sometime even gems from mining veins. You can then head smelt the ore to turn it into bars needed for creating jewelcrafting items.
The biggest advantage of training mining as your second profession is that you will be able to collect all of your own jewelcrafting supplies. You'll probably even mine extra ore you can prospect for gems. (Jewelcrafters are able to train the skill prospecting, which allows them to search ore for gems. Although the ore is destroyed in the process it's worth it when valuable gems are found in the process. So if you mine a lot and have extra ore you can simply prospect it for a chance to find gems, which are of course a major component of jewelcrafting.)
It's important to note that while mining is the traditional complement skill to jewelcrafting not all players choose to train it. Instead those players use a number of other options to get the jewelcrafting supplies they need. Some opt to use another character on their account that already has mining trained and farm the supplies. Others have friends mine the supplies for them or buy everything they need on the auction house. If you don't have another character with mining on it, have friends to get you supplies, the money to buy supplies, or the server population to support an auction house with lots of supplies then you may be stuck having to mine everything yourself.

Jewelcrafting 1-100

The focus of this guide is to get ones skill level up as fast as possible without having to buy lots of recipes from vendors, the auction house, or farm for random drops. It also is designed for players who choose to buy all of their supplies from the auction house, or rather, to level up jewelcrafting without having mining trained.
Keep the items labeled "Keep" because you'll need them to craft items later.

Jewelcrafting 220-300

If you've made it through jewelcrafting this far, congrats. Or if you are just looking ahead at what jewelcrafting to 300 takes, here it is. You will find that as your skill levels get higher and higher, the cost of materials gets higher and higher and in some cases harder to find. If you want to get your jewelcrafting up as quickly as possible I suggest buying the materials; however, this is easier said than done, unless you have a lot of gold.

Jewelcrafting 300-350

For this section of the guide I recommend that you use your own common sense when trying to level up. Some of the sections will require that you level up using lots of the same materials. If you don't have a huge surplus of supplies or don't have a lot of gold to buy them then use your own judgment and try to level up using the supplies you do have.
In order to level up using this guide you will train/purchase recipes from the jewelcrafting trainer (Tatiana in the Inn in Honor Hold, Hellfire Peninsula for Alliance or Kalaen in the Inn in Thrallmar, Hellfire Peninsula for Horde). You can choose what ones you actually need to train based upon the gems you have, since you have many options for a lot of the levels. You will also need to purchase a Simple Grinder from a merchant selling jewelcrafting supplies in order to cut gems.

Jewelcrafting 350-450

Congrats if you've made it this far, you are almost done! One thing to keep in mind when leveling from 350-450 is that it can take a very long time and it can also take a lot of gold, unless you have all the supplies.
In order to level up past 375 you'll have to visit a Grand Master Jewelcrafting Trainer:

Tailoring 1-450 for 3.3

Yep this is update for 3.3 and just released from me.
Note- Not able to give a price on mats due to each sever price is different.

Tailoring Introduction

If you are interested in training tailoring as one of your two professions the first step you need to take is to train tailoring. To do this all you need to do is head to a major city, right click a guard, click professions, click on tailoring, and following the flag on your map to the tailoring trainer. When you get to the tailoring area find the tailoring trainer and train Apprentice Tailor. Click your "Spellbook & Abilities" (P) and on the "General" tab you will find a tailoring button, click it. You will see that you have several formulas (Simple Linen Pants, Linen Cloak, Brown Linen Shirt, Bolt of Linen Cloth) in your book already, the trainer gave you these when you trained Apprentice Tailor. You can also train White Linen Shirt right away.
Now that you have tailoring trained you need to get the supplies for it, which consists mainly of cloth. To begin you'll have to get linen cloth and then most recipes require other miscellaneous items which at lower levels are usually bought from a tailoring supplies vendor.

Tailoring 1-125

This is probably the cheapest and easiest part of the guide since it involves the creation of items made with linen and wool cloth and lower level recipes. Keep in mind that the number of items listed to craft is just an estimate and you might need to make more or less to reach the project skill.
Projected Skill Item Amount to Craft Components Sell or Keep
1-43 Bolt of Linen Cloth 60 120 Linen Cloth Keep
43-61 Linen Belt 20 20 Bolt of Linen Cloth/20 Coarse Thread Sell
61-76 Reinforced Linen Cape 15 30 Bolt of Linen Cloth/45 Coarse Thread Sell
76-105 Bolt of Woolen Cloth 60 180 Wool Cloth Keep

110-125 Double-stitched Woolen Shoulders 15 45 Bolt of Woolen Cloth/30 Fine Thread Sell

Tailoring 125-250

For this section you will begin by leveling up with silk cloth and finish off with making items from Mageweave. Once again remember you may need to make slightly different amounts to reach the projected skill.
Projected Skill Item Amount to Craft Components Sell or Keep
125-145 Bolt of Silk Cloth 162 648 Silk Cloth Keep
145-160 Azure Silk Hood 17 34 Bolt of Silk Cloth/34 Blue Dye/17 Fine Thread Sell
160-175 Silk Headband 16 48 Bolt of Silk Cloth/32 Fine Thread Sell
175-185 Bolt of Mageweave 104 520 Mageweave Cloth Keep

230-250 Black Mageweave Headband or Black Mageweave Shoulders 20 60 Bolt of Mageweave/40 Heavy Silken Thread Sell

Tailoring 250-300

Getting from 250-300 is pretty simple, you only have to craft 3 different items.
Projected Skill Item Amount to Craft Components Sell or Keep
250-260 Bolt of Runecloth 192 960 Runecloth Keep
260-280 Runecloth Belt 20 60 Bolt of Runecloth/20 Rune Thread Sell
280-300 Wizardweave Leggings 22 132 Bolt of Runecloth/22 Dream Dust/22 Rune Thread Sell

Tailoring 300-375

There are a few things you need to know for this section. First off, in order to level above 300 you will need to visit a Master Tailoring Trainer (or Grand Master Tailoring Trainer). Secondly, there are a few patterns that you must purchase and cannot train at the train, they are listed in the table below.
To level up above 300 you'll need to visit a Master Tailoring Trainer:
Master Tailoring Trainer Location Horde or Alliance
Hama Honor Hold, Hellfire Peninsula Alliance
Dalinna Thrallmar, Hellfire Peninsula Horde
Here are the patterns you need to buy for this section of the guide.
Item Where to Buy for Horde Where to Buy for Alliance
Pattern: Bolt of Imbued Netherweave Eiin in Shattrath City (Lower City) Eiin in Shattrath City (Lower City)
Pattern: Netherweave Tunic Eiin in Shattrath City (Lower City) Eiin in Shattrath City (Lower City)
Projected Skill Item Amount to Craft Components Sell or Keep
300-325 Bolt of Netherweave 376 1880 Netherweave Cloth Keep
325-340 Bolt of Imbued Netherweave 102 306 Bolt of Netherweave/204 Arcane Dust Keep
340-345 Netherweave Boots 5 30 Bolt of Netherweave/10 Knothide Leather/5 Rune Thread Sell
345-350 Netherweave Tunic 5 40 Bolt of Netherweave/10 Rune Thread Sell
350-375 Bolt of Frostweave 40 (you will need more later so craft until gray) 200 Frostweave Cloth Keep

Tailoring 375-450

This is the last stretch of the guide. This portion will require a lot of Frostweave Cloth so if you are getting tired of farming cloth go buy them off the AH if u have the gold to do so.
To level up above 375 you'll need to visit a Grand Master Tailoring Trainer:
Grand Master Tailoring Trainer Location Horde or Alliance
Darin Goodstitch Valiance Keep, Borean Tundra Alliance
Benjamin Clegg Valgarde, Howling Fjord Alliance
Charles Worth Dalaran Alliance/Horde
Alexandra McQueen Vengeance Landing, Howling Fjord Horde
Raenah Warsong Hold, Borean Tundra Horde
Here is the guide.
Projected Skill Item Amount to Craft Components Sell or Keep
375-385 Frostwoven Belt 10 30 Bolt of Frostweave/10 Eternium Thread Sell
385-395 Frostwoven Cowl or Frostwoven Leggings 11 55 Bolt of Frostweave/11 Eternium Thread Sell
395-400 Duskweave Belt 5 35 Bolt of Frostweave/5 Eternium Thread Sell
400-405 Bolt of Imbued Frostweave 11 (you will need more later) 22 Bolt of Frostweave/22 Infinite Dust Keep
405-415 Duskweave Wristwraps 11 88 Bolt of Frostweave/11 Eternium Thread Sell
415-425 Duskweave Shoulders 10 100 Bolt of Frostweave/10 Eternium Thread Sell
425-445 Frostsavage Gloves or Boots or Shoulders or Frostweave Bag 26 78 Bolt of Imbued Frostweave/104 Crystallized Fire/104 Crystallized Earth/52 Eternium Thread or 156 Bolt of Imbued Frostweave/52 Eternium Thread Sell
There are a few different paths you can take to level up the last five levels of your tailoring. First off you can continue to craft the green Frostsavage patterns or the green Frostweave Bag patterns. Be aware that this will take a very large amount of attempts until you actually hit 450 and is not a practical route to take if you are concerned with leveling up as quickly as possible.
The second suggestion I have is to level up off of yellow or orange Ebonweave, Moonshroud, or Spellweave patterns. The easiest way to do this is to begin creating each of these cloths at 415 when they are trainable. Also be sure to check the auction house for cloth and get other tailors you know to use their cool downs to create the cloth for you. Be sure that you have specialized in either Mooncloth Tailoring, Shadowweave Tailoring, or Spellfire Tailoring so that when you craft the one you are specialized in you will receive two pieces of cloth instead of one. (If you have not already done this you can find the Specialists to train you in Lower City in Shattrath City.) And that is That have fun leveling Tailoring.
Projected Skill Item Amount to Craft Components Sell or Keep
445-450 Frostsavage Gloves or Boots or Shoulders Many 3 Bolt of Imbued Frostweave/4 Crystallized Fire/4 Crystallized Earth/2 Eternium Thread per skill up Sell
445-450 Frostweave Bag Many 6 Bolt of Imbued Frostweave/2 Eternium Thread per skill up Sell
445-450 Ebonweave Gloves or Moonshroud Gloves or Spellweave Gloves 6 24 Ebonweave or Moonshroud or Spellweave/24 Bolt of Imbued Frostweave/6 Eternium Thread/6 Frozen Orb Sell
